The Death Stalkers
[ ]Stats & Rules
The status of the Death Stalkers will be posted here - This includes all current members, and their position in the pack. It is important you read it, especially if your character has been taken amongst their ranks. You can also find the pack rules - If you disobey them, the consequences will be lethal...
22
[ ]Park Gates
This is the main, and only, entrance to the Death Stalkers lands - New members can wait tentatively here to be noticed by Raven himself. Large, rusting gates rise high on either side of you, but they are never closed. All potential members are welcomed, but do not expect to be treated kindly by your fellows. Welcome to the Death Stalkers...
00
[ ]Meeting Lake
A huge lake residing in the very centre of the large park that makes up the packs lands, this is where all important pack meetings are held. The waters are crystal clear and sweet to drink of, but you must not sip the waters unless instructed to. No one quite knows why, but the penalties will be grim if the rule is broken. Raven himself is the only one permitted to visit the lake freely and he even has his own special area at its banks to lounge on during those lazy days.
00
[ ]Darkened Forest
This large forest covers a lot of the lands, and almost all of the Death Stalkers are forced to reside among the tall trees during their free time. The elite forces keep watch, to make sure there is no disorganised behaviour. The ground is soft but goes stone hard in the colder months. It is usually, if not all the time, dark in these woods, for the huge evergreen trees block out the sunlight and only patches will filter down to the forest floor.
00
[ ]Open Fields
If these fields were not used for such a grim purpose they would be quite beautiful. Small, white flowers grow happily between blades of lush, green grass, but there is a sinister use for this large, open space. It is here that training for all members of the Death Stalkers takes place, and much blood is shed on the field. Some are even forced to fight to the death, the weakest being picked off while they still can. Advanced members, and even Raven himself, will watch the fights eagerly, talent being spotted at an early age.
00
The Free Lands
[ ]The Junkyard
Thies is a huge junkyard on the east side of town where all the dogs can meet to hang about. Large piles of litter and rubbish line a dirty pathway, and you'll be lucky to come out of here feeling clean. Old cars are left abandoned here and discarded pieces of metal are strewn across the ground. Be careful, though. It is all too easy to cut your paw or hurt yourself way here. And as everyone knows, dirty wounds could lead to a lethal infection.
11
[ ]The Cemetery
This small, misty cemetery is right on the boundaries of the city. Beyond its crumbling stone walls, you can see miles upon miles of open countryside. Old tombstones and ancient statuary dot the small field and the stench of death is always strong on the air. A few dying trees stand meekly to the side, but they are of no use to anyone. A veritable maze of decaying rock, the cemetery is a good place to hide.
00
[ ]High Street
The main street that runs through town, this road is always busy with human activity. Shops line the paved paths and you'd be lucky not to be noticed by some nosy kid. Having said that, it is a brilliant place to find food, and by acting innocent, you may even persuade one of the cheapskate humans to throw something tasty down to you.
00
[ ]Dark Alleyway
The dark sister to the High Street, this long alleyway is the highway for the castoffs of society, including its canine population. Where the High Street is the lifesource of the city, the Dark Alleys are its backbone, connecting every street to one another through a labyrinth of dark, wet corridors. The Death Stalkers are rumoured to meet here and discuss what next move in collecting more members for their ever-growing pack will be. Keep your senses on high alert here or you may regret it later.
00
[ ]The Train Station
A train station is still present near the middle of the city, empty, however, of any working trains running through. The small shelter to the side is fine for keeping dogs out of the rain, but that's about it. Thugs come here often to cause trouble, and it's advised you stay out of their way, or pay the price. You can now venture down onto the rails, because no train will ever roll through the station again. But still, it's a place to be wary, so keep your wits about you.
00
[ ]Lover's Walk
Most, if not all dogs come here when the time is right for them to have puppies. A pretty little park in the center of the city, it remains empty of all human life, save a few young children jumping quickly over the fences. Couples can be seen strolling along the concrete paths, looking deep into each others eyes, and the feeling in the air always seems to be calm and peaceful.
